We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied outdoor role focused on the upkeep and presentation of our popular visitor attraction. The successful candidate will help ensure that our grounds, visitor areas and facilities are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe, clean and enjoyable environment for our guests.
We are seeking someone with previous practical work experience who is comfortable working independently, uses their initiative and takes pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- General grounds maintenance including mowing, strimming, hedge cutting and fence repairs.
- Maintaining the appearance, cleanliness and safety of visitor areas across the attraction.
- Carrying out routine inspections of play equipment, pathways and attractions, reporting any maintenance issues.
- Assisting with seasonal attraction set-up and maintenance.
- Undertaking general repair and maintenance tasks as required.
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.
- Planting and harvesting of season crops
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance, estate maintenance, landscaping, property maintenance or a similar hands-on role.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
- Good practical and problem-solving skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Full UK driving licence.
