The Role;
You would be working in a team of three, Producing detailed estimates for potential projects.
Handover of projects won to in house design department, procurement and contract manager.
Responsibilities;
Dealing with tender enquiries and attending site visits to survey the potential project.
Interpreting drawings and understanding the specification of the job.
Liaising with wholesalers/manufacturers to get quotes and ensuring that the items are competitively priced and to the correct specification.
Keeping up to date with product innovation and where appropriate sourcing value engineering alternatives.
Liaising with specialist suppliers to ensure that quotes are on time and meet the specifications of the project.
Managing customer deadlines and expectations.
Monitoring live quotes and gaining feedback from customers.
This role is for a highly organised, computer literate individual with good communication, leadership and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of industrial and commercial projects is essential.
Extensive electrical knowledge is essential, previous estimating experience is very desirable.
