We're currently preparing for the launch of an exciting upcoming title and are looking for an experienced Community Manager to help build, grow, and support its global player community.
The Role:
We're looking for a Community Manager who understands how to create meaningful connections between players, creators, and development teams.
This role combines day-to-day community engagement with long-term strategic planning. You'll help shape conversations, grow communities across multiple platforms, and ensure players feel informed, heard, and excited throughout the journey from pre-launch to release and beyond.
Working closely with publishing, marketing, and development teams, you'll play an important role in how our games are experienced and discussed by audiences worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow communities across platforms including Discord, Steam, Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant channels
- Lead day-to-day engagement while maintaining a consistent and authentic voice
- Develop and execute community initiatives that drive growth, retention, and engagement
- Gather and communicate player sentiment and feedback to internal teams
- Support creator, influencer, and ambassador programs
- Establish and maintain moderation standards, community guidelines, and escalation processes
- Collaborate with publishing, marketing, and development teams on announcements, campaigns, and events
- Create and coordinate community-focused content across social channels
- Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Help shape the culture and identity of our player communities
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in community management, preferably within games, entertainment, or digital products
- Proven ability to build and manage online communities
- Strong understanding of Discord and community platform best practices
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience managing multiple communication channels simultaneously
- Ability to balance player advocacy with business objectives
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Deep understanding of gaming communities, social platforms, and online culture
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting a game through pre-launch, launch, and live operations
- Experience working with global audiences across EU and US markets
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, native platform insights)
- Experience building or managing creator/influencer programs
- Basic video editing or content production skills (TikTok/Reels/Shorts)
- Experience with live-service or community-driven development models
