Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Mandarin-speaking customers, providing prompt and professional assistance regarding order status, shipment inquiries, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to facilitate accurate order picking, packing, and shipping processes, ensuring timely fulfilment aligned with customer expectations.
- Manage inventory levels through effective inventory management practices, utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track stock movements and optimize inventory control.
- Collaborate with transportation management teams to plan and execute transportation logistics, including freight scheduling, dispatching, and route planning to enhance delivery efficiency.
- Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing supply chain data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies for operational excellence in warehousing, distribution, and materials handling.
- Assist in procurement activities such as sourcing materials, category management, and pricing negotiations to maintain cost-effective supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during packaging, materials handling, and forklift operations while maintaining accurate shipping & receiving documentation.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential; proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management is highly preferred; familiarity with warehouse experience or logistics systems such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or CMMS is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in order fulfillment, shipping & receiving processes, and inventory control practices.
