We’re excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an Engineer to join our dedicated and professional food production Engineering team in Bristol.

Type of Role: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: (c.£53,000 per year) £24.38 per hour
Location: Bristol
Your Duties Will Include:

Perform planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal line performance.

Diagnose and resolve breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.

Maintain product safety and quality by adhering to GMP and hygienic engineering standards.

Promote sustainability and efficiency through responsible resource use and process improvements.

Ensure systems remain compliant, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and industry standards.

Accurately document all maintenance activities in the CMMS and communicate effectively during shift handovers.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to enhance reliability and performance.

Support team development by sharing expertise and mentoring apprentices.
Your Skills and Experience:

Experience in a similar role either as an Engineering Shift Technician, Maintenance Engineer, etc.

Relevant Industry Qualification e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Ability to work as part of a team

Previous experience in a food environment is beneficial but not essential
