Job Description
This is an opportunity to join an early-stage fintech platform building a differentiated presence in finance and investment research. The business combines specialist insight, high-quality content, and digital tools, with a focus on growing awareness, building commercial relationships, and supporting the firm’s next phase of development.
You will report directly to the CEO and help drive the firm’s external growth across business development, marketing, and audience development. The role is hands-on, commercially focused, and offers meaningful responsibility from day one.
This position suits a high-agency individual who is comfortable operating in a small team, working in an unstructured environment, and adapting quickly as the business evolves, including helping position the firm for a potential pivot in strategy or market focus.
Role Responsibilities
You will contribute across business development, marketing, and commercial execution:
- Grow the firm’s presence through targeted outreach, partnerships, events, and consistent market engagement.
- Support lead generation and pipeline development with prospective clients, users, and strategic counterparties.
- Manage the firm’s social media presence, with a focus on maintaining a relevant and credible voice across professional channels.
- Manage content production and distribution, including Substack, newsletters, website content, and other external communications, to boost awareness and engagement.
- Develop high-quality marketing materials, presentations, and external communications.
- Support the team in coordinating meetings, follow-up activity, and relationship management with prospective clients and industry contacts.
- Maintain CRM processes and track outreach, engagement, and conversion activity.
- Monitor market developments to support commercial execution and help position the business for potential strategic pivots.
Candidate Profile

- Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline tracking.
- Comfort with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content publishing workflows.
- Experience managing newsletters or Substack-style distribution is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret basic engagement, campaign, and conversion data.
- Interest in using AI and workflow tools to improve content production, outreach, and productivity.
