Join our passionate kitchen team at Cafe Calton, where seasonal, flavour-led cooking is at the heart of everything we do. We're looking for a talented Seasonal Chef who’s enthusiastic, reliable, and excited to work with fresh, local ingredients in a vibrant and welcoming environment.
Shift patterns vary weekly. This is a seasonal contract position until the end of September 2026, with the potential for more permanent hours after the summer season.
Key Responsibilities
- Run your section with confidence, ensuring quality and consistency
- Prepare and cook fresh, seasonal dishes using local ingredients
- Support the kitchen team during service and prep
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in a busy kitchen
- Passion for simple, flavour-driven food
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
