Class 2 Driver
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials in a safe and timely manner.
Duties
- Drive a lorry to transport goods over short or long distances
- Load and unload cargo using a moffett.
- Ensure goods are secured properly during transit
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Follow traffic laws and regulations - driver hours etc.
- Maintain a clean and organised lorry
- Night out as and when needed
- Early starts
- Use own innitiative.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous
- Valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL)
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and procedures
- NPORS forklift training or equivilent qualification. - desirible but not essential (must be willing to be put through qualification if employed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £15.50 per hour
