Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, caring and reliable Qualified Dental Nurse to join our small, well-established private family dental practice. Working days are to to be confirmed, we are a private practice with a small NHS contract for children. We are looking for a nurse, who is also able to do decon and reception where necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilised.
- Provide a high-quality of patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes in accordance with practice protocols.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Decon duties and reception cover where necessary
- Support with administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and managing patient enquiries.
- Follow infection control procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination.
Experience
- Previous experience in dental nursing is essential, with a dental nursing qualification.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and administrative tasks (we use Dentally)
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
