Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance and support to optimise performance.
- Assist with staff recruitment, training, and development programmes to build a competent team.
- Manage sales targets and implement strategies to maximise revenue and profitability.
- Organise merchandising displays to enhance visual appeal and promote products effectively.
- Handle customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including sales reports, staff schedules, and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Support stock management activities such as inventory checks, ordering, and stock rotation.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional activities to increase store visibility.
Skills
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, with supervising or team management responsibilities.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good phone etiquette.
- Proficient organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions.
