We are working with a
growing UK insurance broker seeking an experienced
Compliance Business Partner to join their central compliance function. This role will play a key part in supporting the business to maintain strong regulatory standards while enabling commercial growth across the organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing guidance on regulatory requirements, supporting governance processes, and ensuring compliance frameworks are embedded effectively across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted compliance advisor to business units, providing guidance on regulatory obligations and best practice.
- Support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Provide oversight and challenge to ensure the business operates in line with FCA regulations and internal governance standards.
- Support the delivery of key regulatory initiatives including Consumer Duty, fair value assessments, and conduct risk monitoring.
- Work closely with risk, operations, and senior leadership teams to embed a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, internal governance committees, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Provide advice and guidance on regulatory developments and ensure these are communicated effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Key requirements include:
- Experience working within compliance, risk, or regulatory functions in a regulated financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of FCA regulatory requirements, including Consumer Duty and conduct risk principles.
- Experience supporting governance structures, regulatory reporting, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business and provide clear regulatory guidance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical actions for business teams.
- Experience within insurance or broking environments would be advantageous.
