Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our local community based restaurant and bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to ensure a high-quality dining experience for our guests. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing front-of-house operations, focusing on team management and overall restaurant performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations in lieu of the restaurant manager, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, aiming for complete guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and attract new customers.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisor role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
- Can do attitude, with self motivation and a 'what's next' mantra.
- Demonstrated ability in team management with a focus on leadership and motivation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
- A passion for the hospitality industry with an understanding of current trends in food service.
