Vinos Latinos is one of the UK's leading specialist importers of South American wines, with a carefully curated range of around 100 lines from Uruguay, Argentina, Chile and beyond. We've been building relationships and championing these wines for 17 years.
We're looking for a passionate, self-motivated wine professional to join us as a Sales Agent covering London (on and off-trade) and surrounding areas.
This role offers a commission-based structure with a clear growth path for ambitious individuals passionate about wine and sales. The successful candidate will play a vital role in expanding our client base, building relationships with trade partners, and promoting authentic Latin American wines across the region.
Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, including restaurants, wine shops, and distributors.
- Identify new sales opportunities through targeted outreach and networking within the hospitality and retail sectors.
- Present and promote our portfolio of Latin American wines, highlighting unique qualities and storytelling to enhance client engagement.
- Negotiate terms of sale, pricing, and delivery schedules to secure profitable agreements.
- Organise product tastings, events, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness.
Skills
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the wine or beverage industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Wine knowledge equivalent to WSET Level 2 or above (formal certification not required)
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills with effective time management capabilities to handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to building relationships and expanding market presence within the wine sector. Existing relationships in the London on or off-trade would be a strong advantage.
