Westwood is a well-established and family-owned mental health residential care home located in Mickleover, Derby recently under new management. We pride ourselves on providing a safe and supportive environment for our Residents who require 24-hour care.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper to join our team on a bank or short term contract basis to meet the needs of the Residents, respecting their dignity and promoting independence at the same time. Working hours Tuesday(Kitchen), Wednesday, (saturday or sunday) 8am -3pm and one day a week for deep clean in Kitchen
We want you to:
- Adhere to high standards of housekeeping to meet Infection Control protocols.
- Conduct hourly touch point cleans, as well as daily and weekly responsibilities to ensure home is kept clean, safe and welcoming for Residents and Visitors
- Be aware of and adhere policies and procedures within the home with particular focus on COSHH and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Conduct weekly stock audits and complete order forms in a timely and efficient manner
- To attend mandatory training and actively participate in regular reviews
- Conduct regular audits of home to highlight any issues or requirements to management ensuring the home is clean, welcoming and inviting
