We’re looking for an experienced Roofing Contracts Manager to join a well-established roofing contractor based in Salford!
This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to take ownership of multiple live roofing projects from start to finish. The company specialises primarily in flat roofing, with some pitched roofing works across a range of commercial and residential schemes.
You’ll be responsible for managing approximately 4–5 live sites at any one time, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This role places strong emphasis on programme control, site coordination, and client satisfaction.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position covering projects across the Northwest, with occasional work in the Wakefield area.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage multiple roofing contracts from site start through to completion and final handover
- Oversee 4–5 live projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth delivery across all sites
- Lead progress meetings, programme updates, and project reporting
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers across all live projects
- Manage programmes, variations, valuations, and cost control
- Maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure full health & safety compliance across all sites (RAMS, audits, site standards)
- Carry out site visits to monitor progress, quality, and programme performance
- Resolve site issues quickly to avoid delays and maintain delivery targets

Monday-Friday, 8:00–16:30
Pay
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum (Depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within roofing or construction
- Black CSCS Card
- SMSTS qualification
- Strong organisational and commercial awareness
- Experience managing multiple live sites simultaneously
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Northwest and surrounding regions
