Millie's House Nursery & Pre-School is a well-established group of nurseries across London and Surrey, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years. The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education to the children in your room. Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will help create a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities:
- Planning and delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Acting as a Key Person to a group of children, observing and tracking their development
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Supporting children's personal, social, and emotional development
- Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety at all times
- Contributing to a positive team culture and the smooth daily running of the nursery
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (or equivalent)
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A sound understanding of the EYFS framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- The right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
- Paediatric first aid certificate
- Safeguarding training
- Experience with online learning journals (e.g. Tapestry, Famly)

Hours: Monday to Friday, between 7:30am and 6:30pm (shifts vary by setting).
