Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Unit Administrator to provide administrative support to our manufacturing unit and help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting a team, and has strong attention to detail. This position is based on site.
Duties
- Provide general administrative support to the unit and management team
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and track action items
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and data management
- Handle correspondence, phone calls, and internal queries professionally
- Support reporting activities by preparing documents, spreadsheets, and summaries
- Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day operational tasks
- Liaise with colleagues, vendors, and other departments as required
- Ensure administrative processes are followed efficiently and accurately
Skills
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
- Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
Desirable
- Experience supporting a team or business unit
- Familiarity with reporting, document control, or scheduling systems
- Knowledge of SAP, SharePoint, or similar platforms
Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
