Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to designated locations. We have a new fleet of Daf trucks in need of drivers!
Responsibilities
- Drive trucks to transport goods over short or long distances
- Multi-drop deliveries
- Shunting in quieter periods
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
- Follow traffic laws and regulations
- Report any accidents or vehicle issues to the supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organised lorry
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role
- Excellent driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary is open to negotiation depending on experience - please note that wages are paid monthly
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
