This is a technical, customer-facing role focused on investigating and handling property damage claims of differing values, working both independently and under referral. You will handle property claims for utility companies, using your skills to investigate and assess the claims, and instruct appropriate experts when needed. Soft skills and proactivity are important.
With experience in claims, you will identify suspicious information, follow procedures to prevent fraud, and evaluate evidence. The client is very customer-focused. You will answer correspondence, handle calls, update clients, and maintain diary processes promptly and proactively. Experience with utility or wet peril claims is a plus but not required.
