About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our friendly team in a well-established nursing home in Saintfield, Co. Down.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care, ensuring the safety, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents while working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person-centred nursing care.
- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans.
- Monitor residents' health and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
- Supervise and support Care Assistants during your shift.
- Ensure compliance with NMC standards, safeguarding policies, and care home procedures.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with a valid PIN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous nursing home experience is desirable but not essential.
