Sales Operations Assistant

We are seeking an organised, proactive and detail-focused Sales Operations Assistant to join our team at our Marr depot Monday to Friday 9-5 with an hours unpaid lunch . This is a varied and rewarding role that combines sales support, stock administration and operational coordination, providing vital support to our sales team and helping ensure the smooth running of the department.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in accuracy and likes being at the centre of a busy team operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Sales Manager and sales team.
- Act as the main office-based point of contact for sales representatives requiring information and support.
- Process sales documentation and ensure all information is complete and accurate for invoicing.
- Register machines for warranty in conjunction with the Warranty & Contracts Manager.
- Maintain accurate machine records on the Gold system, including serial numbers, registrations, operating hours, warranty details and photographs.
- Upload and maintain machine listings on the company website.
- Handle incoming wholegoods enquiries via telephone and the company website.
- Process delivery notes and ensure machines are booked into stock on the day of arrival.
- Assist with stock control and wholegoods stock checks across multiple Farmstar depots.
- Maintain filing systems, records and correspondence to a high standard.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure efficient communication and administration.

- Experience within agriculture, machinery, automotive, transport or a similar industry would be advantageous but not essential.

About the Role
This is an office-based position located at our Marr depot and offers the opportunity to become an integral part of our sales operation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both our internal teams and customers whilst helping maintain the high standards that Farmstar is known for.
