Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Riding School Instructor with BHS Exams to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality riding lessons, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our clients, and maintaining the standards of our equestrian centre. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging riding lessons tailored to clients’ skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders
- Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines
- Maintain and care for the centre’s horses, tack, and facilities to ensure optimal condition
- Organise lesson schedules and manage client bookings efficiently
- Assist with organising riding events, competitions, and training sessions
- Provide guidance on horse care, stable management, and riding techniques
- Uphold professional standards in line with BHS regulations and centre policies
Skills
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within equestrian disciplines
- Hold relevant BHS qualifications (e.g., BHSAI or BHS Exams)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct riders of all ages and abilities
- Strong organisational skills to manage lesson planning and centre operations effectively
- Passionate about horse welfare, safety, and delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
