Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Assistant Level 3 Qualified to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children within a nurturing environment. The role involves working closely with children, colleagues, and parents to ensure a safe, engaging, and educational setting.
Duties
- Assist in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with early childhood education standards
- Support children with their daily routines, including feeding, toileting, and rest periods
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their safety at all times
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to monitor individual progress and contribute to personalised care plans
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Assist in organising nursery resources and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Support management in implementing policies and procedures related to childcare standards
- Occasionally undertake driving duties for nursery outings or activities requiring transportation
Qualifications
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education recognised within the UK
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or similar setting
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead small teams or activities when required
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate colleagues and support team development
- Knowledge of childcare legislation, safeguarding policies, and best practices in early years education
- Ability to work effectively with children from diverse backgrounds
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or nursery resources

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,703.11 per year
