Position: Care Assistant
Hours: Full-Time, Part-Time & Bank Contracts Available
Shifts: Days, Nights & Weekends
Salary: Competitive rate (depending on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for caring, compassionate, and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team at Blossom Lodge Care Home. You will support residents with daily living activities, promote independence, and deliver high-quality person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Supporting mobility and daily living activities.
- Assisting with meals and ensuring residents remain hydrated.
- Providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Promoting dignity, privacy, and independence at all times.
- Working closely with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families.
Requirements
- A caring and positive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
- Right to work in the UK.
