About the Role
Amore is currently recruiting dedicated and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our growing agency team. This role involves supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, and complex care requirements within supported living, residential, and nursing settings across the Wirral.
As an agency Health Care Assistant, you will benefit from flexible working while playing a key role in delivering high standards of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Assisting with meal preparation and feeding where required
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities
- Monitoring and recording observations
- Administering medication (where trained and authorised)
- Maintaining accurate care notes and reporting any concerns
- Promoting dignity, respect, and safeguarding at all times
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach
- Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar care role (preferred)
- Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous but not essential
