We’re on the lookout for a Support Worker to join our team in Nottingham NG3. Supporting a client with complex needs due to an acquired brain injury
Female Support workers only: This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruit Females due to the nature of the role.
Candidates must be flexible to cover both day shifts, night shifts and alternate weekends.
Full moving and handling using ceiling hoist and personal care required (Training can be provided)
Offering 24/7 support on a 1:1 basis
12-hour shifts
Pay rate £12.80 p/h
Bank holiday rate £15p/h
You will need:
·Must be eligible to live and work in the UK (sponsorship not offered)
·Must have previous experience in a care setting at least for 12 moths
·Full UK driving license
·Excellent communication skills
·Caring, patient and empathetic nature
Your role would include:
·Supporting the client with moving and handling and full personal care also using a celling hoist
·Supporting the client with feeding
·Supporting the client with accessing the community and attending appointments
·Medication administration
·Supporting the client with therapy goals
·Completing daily reports and MAR charts
·Completing domestic tasks
