We're partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing independent insurance group seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to join their Oxford office.

The Opportunity
You'll inherit and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, providing expert advice and delivering exceptional service across a broad range of sectors.
Working alongside a highly experienced team, you'll be empowered to manage your clients in a way that works best for you, without the bureaucracy often associated with larger corporate organisations.
This role would suit an Account Executive who enjoys building long-term client relationships and wants to work within a collaborative environment where people are trusted to make decisions and genuinely influence the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and review meetings
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through cross-selling and upselling
- Work closely with Account Handlers and technical colleagues to deliver exceptional service
- Negotiate with insurers to secure the best outcomes for clients
- Generate new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and existing relationships
- Ensure all client activity is completed in line with FCA and compliance requirements
About You
- Previous experience as a Commercial Account Executive, Account Manager, or similar client-facing broking role
- Strong commercial insurance knowledge across a range of SME and Mid-Market risks
- Ability to build credibility and long-term relationships with clients
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, professional, and comfortable working autonomously
- Cert CII qualification desirable but not essential
