Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender/Waiter to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently from guests
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area and dining space
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system
- Provide friendly, attentive service to create a positive guest experience
- Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting areas as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality, preferably as a bartender or waiter in a restaurant or bar environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Effective time management to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with a personable approach towards guests
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
