Overview
We are a new nursery and pre-school setting established in September 2025 after our village community successfully purchased our old village school. Nine months after opening our doors we are rapidly expanding , having established a reputation for exceptionally caring, innovative childcare within our beautifully re-furbished building and extensive grounds.
We are ambitious for our children and are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and/or babies. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment. Applicants should be committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and fostering a positive and caring learning atmosphere.
Duties
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged from 9 months -5 years
- Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime routines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and social skills among children
- Manage daily administrative tasks related to child records, attendance, and activity planning
- Support colleagues in implementing curriculum plans and organisational policies
- Support us in our drive to really make a difference to young children's lives
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children within a nursery or early years setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Relevant childcare qualifications such as Level 3 Early Years Educator or equivalent recognised qualification

Pay: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
