The Role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of retrofit and Optimised Retrofit Programme (ORP/OSP) projects across West Wales. The successful candidate will manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme delivery while ensuring all works meet PAS 2030/2035, health & safety, and quality standards.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong site leadership experience and a solid understanding of whole-house retrofit and energy efficiency measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations across retrofit and energy efficiency projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labour on site
- Ensure all works are completed in line with PAS 2030/2035 compliance requirements
- Oversee installation quality for insulation, ventilation, windows, doors, heating systems, and renewable technologies
- Maintain health & safety standards and site compliance
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks
- Monitor progress against programme deadlines
- Report progress and site updates to senior management
- Resolve site issues and maintain smooth project delivery
- Liaise with tenants, clients, Retrofit Coordinators, and other stakeholders where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, retrofit, or social housing
- Strong understanding of PAS 2030/2035 and retrofit compliance
- Experience delivering insulation, ventilation, and fabric-first measures
- Knowledge of ECO4, SHDF, OSP/ORP or similar funded schemes (preferred)
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- SMSTS qualification (essential)
- CSCS Card (essential)
- First Aid at Work (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
