We are looking for two experienced Depot Cleaning Managers to join our team — one based at Conway Street/Ringmer and one based at Crawley. Working 39 hours per week on night shifts, you will be responsible for overseeing all depot and fleet cleaning operations to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
Key duties:
- Lead and manage a bus cleaning team including recruitment, training, scheduling and performance monitoring
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, cleaning protocols and best practices
- Maintain cleaning schedules across the fleet and depot to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure all vehicles are cleaned to company standards including interior sanitation, exterior washing and detail work
- Assist with managing the cleaning budget including labour, materials and equipment forecasting
- Act as the primary point of contact for all cleaning related queries at your site
- Promote a culture of safety and excellence within the cleaning team
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on cleanliness standards and staff performance
You will need:
- At least 2 years experience in cleaning or management
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Knowledge of vehicle cleaning methods, products and equipment
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations related to vehicle maintenance
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
