Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our professional culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and presentation. Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service
- Assist in the organisation of mise en place and stock control for your designated section
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth kitchen operation during service hours
- Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards
- Support training of junior kitchen staff and apprentices as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation within a reputable restaurant or hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen setting, ideally as a Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good understanding of culinary techniques across various cuisines is desirable
- Ability to work well within a team, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
