Overview
We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty salon. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional nail services while providing outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of nail treatments such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs
- Provide personalised consultations to clients to recommend suitable treatments and colour choices
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilisation of all tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage appointment bookings efficiently using our front desk system and ensure timely service delivery
- Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or deep tissue massages to enhance client satisfaction and revenue
- Engage with clients professionally to ensure a welcoming atmosphere and foster repeat business
- Manage social media accounts by posting updates, promotions, and engaging content to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Assist with guest services including reception duties, answering queries, and managing client flow seamlessly
- Support management with administrative tasks as required, including stock replenishment and maintaining salon presentation standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Nail Technician with expertise in various nail techniques and treatments
- Strong management skills to organise appointments and oversee daily salon operations effectively
- Excellent social media management capabilities to promote services and engage with clients online
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clientele
- Experience in front desk operations, handling bookings, payments, and client inquiries efficiently
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, deep tissue massage, barbering, or other complementary beauty treatments is highly desirable
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a friendly approach
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members within the salon environment
- A passion for hospitality and guest services that ensures clients feel valued and cared for at all times
Qualification:
Must hold a recognised nail qualification (VTCT or Focus Awards accredited certification)
