Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory/Stock controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimising supply chain processes. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management systems, data analysis, and the ability to lift heavy items as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
- Utilise data mining techniques to analyse inventory trends and forecast future needs.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline inventory processes.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems effective reporting.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during stock checks and organisation of storage areas.
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory status, including turnover rates and stock availability.
- Work closely with the supply chain team to optimise order fulfilment processes.
Experience
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field is essential.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in querying databases.
- Familiarity with 3PL operations and supply chain management is advantageous.
- Experience using inventory management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
