Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook a diverse range of breakfast items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- Assist in menu planning and development of breakfast options
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients as needed
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Manage time effectively to meet service deadlines during busy periods
- Support other kitchen staff as required, including cleaning and basic food prep tasks
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen
- Experience with meal preparation, especially breakfast dishes, is highly desirable
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with serving food in a hospitality setting is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and presentation
Working Hours:
Breakfast Shifts
- Normal days: 7:00am – 11:00am
- Changeover days: 6:30am – 11:00am
Split Shifts (when covering evenings)
- 7:00am – 11:00am
- 3:00pm – 8:00pm
