- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and repairs conducted.
- Provide support during equipment installations or upgrades.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and production loss.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Mechanical Bias with experience in Electrical
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, such as NVQ, HND, or equivalent.
- Experience in a maintenance role within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good understanding of health and safety standards in engineering environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet operational goals.
- Up to £49,500 DOE
- Monday to Thursday (8am-4:45pm) and Friday (6am-12:30pm)
