Cover supervisor –Prestatyn
Excell Supply is currently recruiting for a motivated and dependable Cover Supervisor to work within a friendly secondary school in Prestatyn. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy supporting young people in a classroom setting.
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of teaching staff
- Supervising students and maintaining classroom engagement
- Managing behaviour effectively in line with school expectations
- Encouraging positive learning and participation
- Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons
- Supporting the smooth running of the school day
What We’re Looking For
The successful candidate will:
- Be confident leading groups of secondary-aged students
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and professional
- Have previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
- Be committed to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one
