Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as asphalt, shingles, metal, or tiles
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Remove old roofing materials and properly dispose of them
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Install or repair flashing to prevent leaks and water damage
- Ensure that all work is completed according to safety guidelines and industry standards
- Clean up job sites and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a roofer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of different roofing materials and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Note: A valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
