Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing gas systems across domestic settings. The successful applicant will possess practical skills in using hand tools and power tools, with the ability to work safely and efficiently in various environments.
Duties
- Service in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues with gas infrastructure
- Use welding equipment and hand tools to assemble, modify, or repair components
- Perform plumbing tasks related to gas systems, ensuring proper connections and sealing
- Utilise power tools for cutting, drilling, and fitting components accurately
- Assist with the assembly of new gas systems or components as required
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements, quantities, and pressure settings
Requirements
- Proven experience in gas engineering or related mechanical roles
- Full ACS
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in engineering tasks
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid driving licence
- Experience working with domestic boilers
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
