- Required to also work alternate weekends
Qualifications
- Proven experience in care settings, particularly in residential care homes
- Familiarity with dementia care - Preferred not essential
- Strong understanding of medication administration protocols
- Experience in developing and implementing care plans
- Ability to manage patient behaviour and provide compassionate care and support
- Confident in making decisions and must possess initiative
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualised care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects.
- Provide compassionate support and care to residents with dementia and Alzheimer's, promoting their dignity and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene.
