HGV Class 2 RORO Driver – Skip Hire & Waste

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Roll On Roll Off (RORO) Driver to join our team. This is a secure, long‑term opportunity with regular hours, well‑maintained vehicles and a friendly, supportive team.
About the role
You will be responsible for the delivery, exchange and collection of skips for both domestic and commercial customers across North West Kent and South East London.
The role involves local multi‑drop driving, safe operation of Tipper and RORO vehicles, and representing the company professionally on customers’ sites and on the road.
What you’ll do
- Operate Tipper and Roll On Roll Off vehicles safely and efficiently, following all traffic
and site regulations
- Carry out pre‑trip vehicle checks and inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Deliver, exchange and collect skips at domestic and commercial sites in North West
Kent and South East London
- Ensure timely and accurate drop‑offs and collections, following daily route plans
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules
and any issues encountered
- Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and well‑presented, reporting any mechanical issues

- Represent R S Skips Ltd in a professional, courteous manner at all times
Hours
- Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 17:30
- Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 – 13:00
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a reliable, safety‑conscious HGV Driver who takes pride in their work and looks after their vehicle.
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (required)
- Driver CPC and digital tachograph card (required)
- Minimum 1 year’s HGV driving experience (required)
- Experience operating Tipper or RORO / Skip Lorries is highly desirable
- Good understanding of drivers’ hours, WTD and road safety
- Able to work independently, follow instructions and manage your daily workload
- Professional, polite and customer‑focused
