What you’ll do
As a Coldstore Operative , you’ll play a key role in ensuring finished product is handled, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and to specification.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Stacking, wrapping and preparing finished product ready for coldstore storage and distribution.
- Working in chilled and frozen environments, carrying out manual handling and palletising tasks safely.
- Using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and handheld scanners to move and record stock accurately.
- Completing check sheets, paperwork and digital records in line with quality and traceability requirements.
- Ensuring product quality, presentation and customer specifications are met at all times.
- Supporting general coldstore and warehouse activities to maintain smooth workflow .
- Maintaining good housekeeping standards and following waste segregation procedures.
- Adhering strictly to Health & Safety, GMP and site hygiene standards.
- Demonstrating flexibility to support other warehouse duties and departments when required, with opportunities for cross-training and development into different roles across the business.

- Physically capable of manual handling, palletising and wrapping tasks.
- Good attention to detail, especially when completing paperwork and system entries.
- Ability to follow procedures and work safely at all times.
- A team-player mindset, willing to support colleagues when required.
- (Desirable) Experience in a food manufacturing, warehouse or coldstore environment.
- (Desirable) Previous experience using WMS or handheld scanners.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
