Abimatic Care Ltd is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Workers to provide high-quality support to individuals living in their own homes across Wolverhampton.
As a Care Worker, you will support people to live independently while delivering person-centred care with dignity, respect, and compassion. We support a wide range of clients with varying needs, including older adults, individuals living with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and those requiring complex care.
Experience in NIV (Non-Invasive Ventilation), Cough Assist, Nebuliser therapy, PEG feeding, or other complex care interventions is highly desirable but not essential, as full training and competency assessments will be provided to the right candidates.

Duties
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, continence care, and mobility support.
- Support clients with moving and handling using appropriate equipment.
- Administer or assist with medication in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage independence and promote dignity at all times.
- Support clients with social activities and community access where appropriate.
- Carry out light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Accurately complete care documentation and report any concerns promptly.
- Drive clients to appointments or community activities where required.
Complex Care Duties (Training Provided)
Where required, you will also support clients with:
- Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV/BiPAP) support.
- Cough Assist therapy.
- Nebuliser therapy.
- PEG feeding and PEG care.
- Oxygen therapy (where applicable).
- Suction equipment awareness and support.
- Monitoring respiratory wellbeing and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Working alongside community nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective care.
Previous experience in NIV, Cough Assist, Nebuliser therapy, or other complex care is welcomed but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in domiciliary care, assisted living, nursing homes, supported living, or home care is preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in dementia, Alzheimer's, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or end-of-life care is advantageous.
- A caring, compassionate, and reliable nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal English.
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
- Willingness to undertake mandatory and specialist complex care training.
