Temporary to permanent opportunity for a Financial Controller with a growing fast-paced business to lead financial control, reporting and operational finance.
This is a key leadership role, partnering closely with Senior Management to improve profitability, strengthen controls and support continued growth.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Leading month-end reporting, delivering accurate and timely financial information
- Maintaining robust financial controls across all core processes
- Owning cash flow, working capital and forecasting
- Developing costing models and providing insight on product and site profitability
- Partnering with operations to improve performance, efficiency and margins
- Leading audit, statutory reporting and compliance activities
- Supporting commercial decisions including pricing, investment and growth planning
- Driving systems, reporting and process improvements
- Leading and developing a high-performing Finance Team
Applicants to this role require:
- Qualified Accountant (CA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Proven background in financial control, reporting and operational finance
- Strong understanding of costing, stock and margin
- Commercially focused with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
