Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hospitality Worker to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all customers enjoy a memorable experience. Previous restaurant or culinary experience is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes meet quality and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, kitchens, and service stations
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle guest enquiries promptly and professionally, resolving any issues efficiently
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a busy setting
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and cash register operations
- Kitchen experience or culinary background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
