A busy, well-equipped accident repair centre is looking for an experienced PANEL BEATER to join its bodyshop team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs across cars, vans, EVs and prestige vehicles—working to manufacturer methods and safety standards.
Duties & Work Scope
The role covers end-to-end panel repairs in a fast-paced bodyshop, with a focus on quality, safety and efficiency.
- Structural and cosmetic repairs to manufacturer standards
- Remove/refit panels; straighten, shape and align bodywork
- Use correct tools/equipment and follow safety procedures
- Work across cars, light commercials, EVs and prestige models
- Complete insurance repairs efficiently with a high-quality finish
- Collaborate with a small team to keep workflow moving
Skills and Requirements
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Body Repair (or equivalent)
- Proven panel beating experience in a busy bodyshop
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Self-motivated, reliable and able to work as part of a team
- Manufacturer/in-house training is an advantage
Hours & Pay
- Pay: £22.50 per hour
- Hours: Mon–Thu 8:30am–5:30pm, Fri 8:30am–5:00pm
