Options Resourcing are currently recruiting for Pipe Fitters for a project in Swindon.
We are seeking experienced Commercial Plumbers and Pipefitters to assist with a full heating system refurbishment at a local school. Because this work must be completed entirely during the summer holiday shutdown, we require reliable, fast-paced professionals who can deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- System Demolition: Safely isolate, drain down, and strip out existing commercial boilers, radiators, pumps, and associated steel/copper pipework.
- Pipefitting & Installation: Measure, cut, thread, groove, or weld commercial-grade pipework (including carbon steel, copper, and plastic press-fit systems).
- Heating Plant Assembly: Install new commercial boilers, heat emitters (radiators/radiant panels), pumps, valves, and plant room equipment according to schematic drawings.
- Testing & Commissioning: Assist with pressure testing, flushing, and prepping the new system for commissioning.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized work area, strictly adhering to site safety guidelines and school regulations.
Qualifications
A valid CSCS / JIB (Essential)
