Edge Staffing are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Drivers (HGV C+E) for ongoing work with our client in the York area (YO26).
We are currently looking for day drivers for this role. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right drivers.
Pay Rates
- Agency: £15.85phr - £17.76phr (breaks paid)
- Full-time salary potential: £33,000–£45,000 per year
The Role
- Collection of scrap televisions and fridges
- Heavy lifting involved
- Driver’s mate provided to assist
- Ongoing work available Monday to Friday
Class 1 Driver Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Must have held Class 1 licence for at least 2 years
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes)
- Strong knowledge of UK road laws and safe driving practices
- Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
