Site Cleaner (CSCS Required)
Location: Covering sites across the North East
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.75 – £13.25 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday (Day Shift) with flexibility for weekend work
About the Role
Jackson Hogg are recruiting Site Cleaners on behalf of a Newcastle‑based client to work across various sites throughout the North East.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with genuine progression opportunities for the right candidates. The role involves preparing construction plots for handover and further works, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and ready for completion.
You will be working within active construction environments, using cleaning equipment and solvents to maintain high standards across site.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare plots on construction sites for completion and handover
- Use cleaning equipment and appropriate solvents safely and effectively
- Remove debris, materials, and waste from site areas
- Ensure all areas meet required cleanliness and safety standards
- Work across multiple sites in the North East as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures on site
Candidate Requirements
- Valid CSCS card is essential
- Previous experience working on construction sites
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, physically active role
- Ability to use cleaning products and equipment safely
- Flexible to support occasional weekend work
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
- Candidates aged 25+ (for insurance purposes, where applicable)
