About Sea Cadets
Sea Cadets is the UK’s leading maritime youth charity, helping young people aged 9–18 build confidence, teamwork, and life skills through fun and adventurous activities. Volunteers support this work both directly and behind the scenes.
What will you be doing?
The tasks of a secretary include but are not restricted to the following:
· General administration
· Email details and agendas for UMT meetings
· Take minutes at UMT meetings, upload them, and email to team members
· Act as a charity trustee
· Arrange and support the units Annual General Meeting
· Attend a regular UMT meeting - usually 1 hour, bi-monthly on a weekday evening
What are we looking for?
Formal administration experience is desirable but a passion for improving the lives of young people is key. We’re looking for people who are reliable, honest, and trustworthy, comfortable working as part of a team and interested in learning new skills.
